SCHOOL LIBRARY MISSION STATEMENT:
CCSD School Library Programs provide equitable access to diverse, current, and relevant materials. We empower students to discover, create, and expand their understanding of the world in an open and welcoming environment. We support all school and community stakeholders through collaborating, teaching, and removing barriers to learning.

The books in our school library's catalog are chosen by a certified teacher librarian who holds a Masters degree in Library and Information Science, in accordance with standards and policies for collection development and library management set by the South Carolina Department of Education and the Charleston County School District.
