Admissions and Enrollment

Ashley River is a partial magnet school with a small attendance zone located in the West Ashley area of Charleston. The majority of our students enter through a lottery that is held each spring for the upcoming school year.

Every school-aged child in Charleston County is assigned to a neighborhood school based on their grade level and home address. To find the neighborhood school for your address, use the CCSD school look-up tool.
