Ashley River Art Guild
The Ashley River Art Guild has 12 members who audition at the beginning of the year. Throughout the year, students create props for drama performances, projects for community events, and independent art works.
Ashley River Office
The Ashley River office has a receptionist, a secretary\bookkeeper, and an attendance clerk.
Japanese Penpals
Guidance Counselor Sharon Casey has supervised a penpal program with a class of Japanese students from Kuratake Junior High School.
Music Department
All students in grades K-5 receive 80 minutes of music instruction each week. Suzuki strings instruction is available for all interested students and parents in grade K-5. The CCSD string program offers beginning string instruction for 4th and 5th graders. Special performance groups are available to interested 4th and 5th graders by audition: the Ashley River Unichorus, Pied Pipers and Percussion Ensemble and an African drum ensemble.
