Cultural Arts

"The limits of my language are the limits of my world"  Ludwig Wittgenstein.

        Welcome to Cultural Arts

My name is Natascha Ferguson, and I am originally from Caracas, Venezuela.
After graduating from high school, I decided to learn how to speak English in the United States.
I  enrolled at the College of Charleston, in South Carolina, because it offered a great foreign exchange program.
I graduated from the C of C in 1986, with a B.A. in Spanish Literature.
In 1991, I went back to school, where I completed a Master's Degree in Education.

I became part of the faculty at Ashley River in 1989, and since then I have not stop learning, changing, and moving.
I know that ARCAE is truly the place for me!

The purpose of the FLES program at Ashley River is to encourage the appreciation of cultural values; to enable students to learn  the basics of communication in another language; and to prepare them to successfully enter and compete in an increasingly global society.
